As you probably know we were testing a new system where we paid per unlocked survey as well as up to $3 per 1000 visitors + a share of any revenue generated by the ads. This test has not been successful and resulted in many people abusing the system by generating tons of junk traffic just so that they could get $3 per 1000 hits. As a result we lost more money than we made.
Effective immediately we will no longer pay for hits but we will be increasing survey payouts depending on revenue generated via display ads on a given month. At the end of the day we are a url locker and this is what we should be concentrating on.
